Maisy came to DASH with her mom and siblings when they were 5 days old. She was the runt of the litter but that never held her back. She is absolutely adorable and was a perfect puppy! Maisy is now a bit older and growing into her own. She loves to play with people and other dogs. She loves being outside in a fenced yard. When she is inside, she is looking for every opportunity to get back out and she will if she has the chance! Therefore, Maisy should definitely have a fenced-in yard or plenty of acreage to patrol and means of containing her on the property. She is good with children!! In fact, like most puppies, she is so eager to play with them she jumps on them out of excitement and gives them kisses. She is an excellent jumper and will need encouragement and a reminder on how to contain her excitement. Maisy is highly food motivated and would do just about anything for it, so this might be the secret! Maisy does well in her crate at night. She loves a good belly rub, butt scratch, and quick cuddle, and off she goes again. Maisy is used to being around multiple children and activities in a daycare setting. So while she has proven to be great in this setting, she may actually benefit from being in a calmer environment where someone can focus on her puppy training needs. She has proven to be a sweet, loving, active, intelligent young girl who wants to be free!!
