Meet Bear

This big guy came to DASH well under weight but has blossomed into a strapping big boy now! (Starved and tied up is our guess for his past.) Now, this boy is growing into a sweet, loving dog who has not let his past keep him from being the bestest boy ever. He is in our Dash prison training program where they describe him as “Big Dog”! While there, he has quickly won hearts & is grasping many basic commands - housebroken, crate & leash trained as well as sit, down, stay, leave it & wait. As most, He will need to continue home schooling to master his training. If you want a big love bug he’s your guy, he loves to rest his head on you & lean in to be closer to his people. This week he has learned to shake, but of course, he does it his way WITH BOTH PAWS!!! He is big and strong, but he is trainable, laid back-lazy and very affectionate, he loves to lean on his people!!! He likes other dogs, people & toys but has not been Cat or Kid tested. He’s been a great dog in training and loves laying around but is waiting to lounge with his very own furever family.
