Meet Casey - who is always smiling! Casey is an energetic Brittany Spaniel, who unfortunately was surrendered when she was hit by a car. She did not require surgery but did two solid weeks of crate rest and rehabilitation to stabilize her broker shoulder. She gets around just fine, now that her leg is unwrapped. She favors the leg a little, but with another month of relaxing and not a lot of activity she should be good as new! She is completely potty trained and will bark when she wants out. She has also learned to come in and out of our doggy door and loves this! Casey MUST have a fenced in yard. Even though she has been hit by a car she doesn't appear to be afraid of the street or cars, so I would not recommend she be without a leash or fence. She loves to play with her foster puppy sibling, who weighs 30 pounds less than her! She isn't rough, just playful. Casey sleeps nicely in a bed in our room, or in her crate. She is happy all the time and is would be a great pet for an active person or family. Having another dog in the house for her to play with would be ideal as well! She is extremely social and wants to be involved in all the activities going on in our house! She is not much of a barker but will whine if she is in her crate when she wants out. Once night comes, she settles down nicely and sleeps through the night without issue.
