10/29 UPDATE: Gidget has come a long way since she entered the DASH Prison Program on July. She likes playing with toys & other dogs. She warms up to new people much faster. but she is shy. In the current environment, she is sensitive to sudden touch or loud sounds. Gidget would do well with other dogs or alone. We have not observed her with children, however she is gentle, doesn't jump on people & is not aggressive with toys or food. Gidget is ready for her forever homeā¤ Gidget has been in the DASH Prison Program for 3 weeks (as of 8-15-18). When she arrived, she was so scared she had to be carried in a travel crate all the way to her handlers cell & it took her a while to come out. Gidget is making great progress with her shy/scared demeanor & she now loves to play with other dogs & people. Trust is being built.
