Ready to Adopt?

 Step 1 :

Complete an adoption application

If you are having trouble getting the application to submit, please make sure ALL questions with an * are answered.  You may put NA if it doesn’t apply, and all Zero’s for a phone number that doesn’t apply

Step 2:   If you have successfully submitted your application you should receive an email from us requesting that you email the photos of your home to  dashrescue00@gmail.com for dogs or, catsdash9@gmail.com for cats. If you do not see this email please be sure to check your SPAM folder.

Please include several photos of the main inside living areas of your home, your yard and anyone age 18 or older residing in the home. This is the start of your home visit process. We use this information to ensure a safe home environment for our animals.

** Due to the volume of applications we receive, applications will NOT be processed until the application household/personal photos have been submitted.**

Step 3:    Once your application is processed you will receive a pre-approval email with the information to contact the animal's foster for a phone interview.  If the foster feels you will be a great fit for their foster animal you will schedule a Meet & Greet with them. All our dogs require a Meet & Greet before adoption with their future family to ensure that it's the best fit for the pet, and for you! If the dog you meet is not a good fit for your family, we will continue to work with you to find a fur-baby that is! Your adoption application will remain active for 6 months from the date of approval.

**Please be aware that approval of your application is NOT a guarantee that you will be allowed to adopt the dog of your choosing (or any dog). DASH strives to take the best interests of the dog into consideration when making placements. We want this home to be theirs Fur-ever.  DASH reserves the right to refuse adoption to any applicant at any point in the application or adoption process, at its sole discretion.**
