10/28 UPDATE: Captain is house, leash & crate trained; but would much rather hop in your lap & sleep right beside you in bed. He, like most Chi's, thinks he's a big dog; but likes to play with dogs, people & toys. His handler thinks he would be good with kids, but not cats.
August 15 update: Captain has been in the DASH Prison Program for about a week. So far his handler reports he is leash, crate & house trained; and the are getting to know each other.
