Jet was saved from a full local shelter and entered the DASH Prison Dog Training Program in September 2018. His handler says Jet is very intelligent and is learning commands quickly. He's friendly, affectionate and loves people and other dogs. Jet would love an active family with kids and other dogs; he needs daily activity and exercise. Jet can be an escape artist, getting through small opening and climbing gates & fences... but he does well on a leash. 10/29 UPDATE: Jet loves to sleep in bed with his person; his handler insists a potential adopter should be open to letting him sleep on the bed. He has mastered all of his commands. Jet likes to chew on toys & bones, but doesn't destroy things he shouldn't. He has recently been a bit territorial with food, toys & space; the handler is focusing on this behavior & request two weeks for improvement.
