Maddox is one of four dogs that were dumped from a car on the side of the road. My approach with them was cautious and hopeful and you cannot imagine my surprise and joy that despite his former situation, he is a gentle giant. Even at 80 lbs, he still tries to fit in your lap. He loves walks, gives kisses and greets you with a whole body wag. He stays by your side on walks and loves laying next to you. He takes food from your hands slowly and gently and doesn't seem to mind anything. He's a big guy and would do well with someone who could handle his size so I think a home without small children would be best. He would do well as the only animal in the home.
