Oakley was on the run from a local shelter for 3 weeks & was sighted, but very difficult to catch. DASH took her in to the prison program, where they pulled burs, picked ticks & fleas & doctored wounds. She's a fantastic loving, Lanseer Newfoundland dog. She seems to have a calming effect on anxious & aggressive dogs. She knows all of her basic commands & will also crawl & settle. Oakley is a big girl, but she enjoys sleeping with her human. We recommend a fence. She hasn't tried to escape since she's been with DASH, but we are not sure how she got away.
