Tourmalina is appropriately 2 year and our best guess is she's a mix of Chihuahua and Corgi. She was found running the streets as a stray with another pup.

She's a sweet indendent young gal that doesn't mind other dogs similar to her size or smaller as long as they give her her own space when she wants it. She enjoys treats, laying in her comfy bed, running around in the yard, following you around the house and at times snuggling up on the couch.

Tourmalina is still working on her confidence, trust and learning to enjoy affection. She has came a long way since being in her foster home. She is looking for a calmer home with no small children or cats. She will need someone that has patience, willing to allow her time to adjust, bond and will continue to show her the joys of being loved. She does have a tendency to prefer females over males as her primary caregiver and companion. She will take treats from most men but she usally will just wants to avoid them. She's house trained to use a doggie door and will use pee pads if provided.

Her Foster Mom says Tourmalina is such a good dog, just a little insecure but is a lovebug with her now that she gave her time to adjust and bond with her. She is hoping someone will give her a chance to bond with them and a family to call her own forever.
