Meet Mango!

Mango has not had an easy life, but he does not let that stop him from wanting a better future, and he deserves his later years to be wonderful.  We believe his first owner was loving and kind but, unfortunately died unexpectedly leaving Mango and his buddy Mia alone for days and from there their lives would never be the same.   Mia was Mango’s companion through some painful times and now Mia has passed from cancer.  Dash saved this bonded pair and we are now looking for someone who can provide Mango a quiet loving home. Losing your best friend and partner can leave one lonely and lost. Mango is waiting for his forever family. He is mature and as you can see missing an eye due to a bad infection, but that does not stop him from craving love. He will follow you wherever you go but he won't disturb your peace and quiet, he rarely ever barks. He doesn't mind being crated when you're away, or tagging along on car rides or going on short walks. He will potty outside as long as he is taken outside frequently.  

Some of this favorite things in life are food, big cozy beds, and sunshine! He doesn't like the cold weather, snow, or rain! His hearing is not strong but can follow your lead and hand signals. He gets along well with other dogs and kids who can treat him properly.  He is a delight and looking for someone who wants to be that friend and companion, the new Mia in his life.  He will require some maintance to keep this fur clean and soft, he likes his handsome look.
