Ok animal lovers - I need a very, very special home for this one.
Meet Harmony - she was abused and starved by a man so she’s not so trusting of men right now. She wants love, gives kisses, is a giant bed hog and steals the covers and mostly deserves her own amazing people who will be patient and help her trust again. She loves toys and will bring you just about any of them to play fetch. She shouldn’t be in a house with cats but should definitely have another dog friend around. I’m unsure about young children - so at this point, I would say probably not on an everyday basis until she isn’t scared so easily. Her family should have someone mostly home as she spent much of her time in a crate and doesnt love being alone in one. She’s an awesome car companion! She’s a 2 yr old Belgian Malinois/GSD mix and would likely do better with someone who has working dog experience. I LOVE her and want her to have her happily ever after - especially after the trauma she has been through. She could easily be a foster fail for me because she has such amazing potential and so much LOVE to give but my 3 cats say otherwise She knows basic commands - sit, come, shake. We are working on “place” because she still gets over excited and reactive when someone comes over. She will need to continue training and mostly continued to be loved with patient, positive reinforcement. Please help me find her perfect forever family and know that I will need to check on her often because she has my whole heart.
