Buddy is a handsome 4-month-old blue heeler mix. He is cautious, cuddly and loyal. When first meeting new people, Buddy is a bit apprehensive, but with treats and time, Buddy opens up and loves his snuggles. When he is scared or unsure, he seeks the comfort of his person. Buddy loves playtime with his foster siblings and consistently seeks out the company of other dogs in his foster home. He would be happiest in a home with other pets. Buddy was previously in the prison training program, where he learned basic commands. In his foster home, he is still working on house training, but is very smart and learning quickly.
