Hi, I’m Faline, but my foster moms call me Lucy. I am excited to meet you! In fact, I am a happy and excited puppy with a lot of energy. When my sister and I got to our foster moms’ house, we didn’t know much about being dogs, yet. Now, I’m 80% potty-trained with going outside and on the pee pad! I’m just not big enough yet to make it outside every time. I also know that my kennel is my safe space, and I’m working on learning the difference between dog toys and things I am not supposed to put in my mouth. I love to learn and want to make good choices, I just have to be shown what to do. I have been on walks and I’m getting used to being on a leash.
I can be a little much for my 12 year old, four-legged foster sister and have to be told to leave her alone. I can’t help it, I just want to play! I can be pretty overwhelming at times, but my foster moms tell me that I am making progress.
Did I tell you I have A LOT of energy? I want to run and chase and play, so I will need to be walked and played with every day or I get a little destructive. I would do well with going to puppy school to learn to be the best good girl!
I am lovey and snuggly, and want to be involved in everything you are doing, but be warned – I need reminders not to be bitey. I’m not aggressive, I just like putting things in my mouth and don’t know that I can’t play with humans the same way I play with my sister.
Speaking of my sister, we are litter mates and I love her very much. My foster moms are going to adopt her and would like to stay in touch with my furever family so I can still play with her from time-to-time.
I’m a good girl, and I can be bossy. My ideal home is with someone who will be loving, patient, consistent, and give me clear boundaries.
