Meet  Penny! She is a fierce little brindle tigress of 8 lbs. Penny is a chi mix, just turned 1 yr. Her flashy brindle coat is accentuated by a white tuxedo & socks. Penny is a shy dog who needs time and patience to adjust to new situations. A quiet adult/older kid home with a securely fenced yard & furry playmate would be best. When Penny comes out of her shell...watch out, there will be zoomies!! She is very affectionate and wants much attention. Her antics will keep you laughing Penny talks, paws, and pushes her head under your hands. She really wants and needs a lot of attention from her people. Penny also loves belly rubs. She is housebroken but should be crated when you're out. Her behavior indicates that she may have been handled roughly in the past. Her family will need to give her time to relax and feel safe. Penny's theme song would be, "I'm Special" by The Pretenders. I forgot to mention two more features, her little "Mona Lisa" underbite smile... And her love of the X-man, "Wolverine". Penny does her back nails short, then keeps the front nails are filed long and sharp. She's a funny little character; beautiful, unique, and silly. Are you ready to find a lucky Penny?
