Are you looking to complete your family, need a special addition to this year’s Christmas card or maybe a reason to take that Christmas picture?  Meet Holly Monroe.  Holly is a 10 month beautiful, loving platinum blonde mix, most likely English Cream retriever (see the tail and pants) and something like border collie. Who doesn't love a blonde beauty by their side?!  But Holly is much  more than just a pretty face and deserves someone who will return to her that trusting love that she has lost.  Holly came to us as an owner surrender due to an owner medical issue.   She was cautious and scared at first but will relax and will quickly show you the love she wants to give and eat up all the attention you can give.  We have had her a very very short time and have been privileged to witness her long running strides and playful spirit and fell in love with her sweet soul.   She is not a guard dog or one that should be left outside or chained and forgotten – she barely barks and wants to be with her family.  She would do very well with a fenced yard to allow her run and play, another friendly pup would be nice as well.   She will lay by your side while you work and will hop in bed next to you and cuddle at night.  She is potty trained!  She has a “soft” bite and plays with all sizes of dogs; she does take queues from the grouchy very small old dog and does not try and play with her.   She would never hurt a child and would enjoy their company, but remember she is close to 40 pounds and could knock a small child over by accident, never by intent.  Holly will be timid during the transition(this will be hard for both of us!).  Are you ready to fill up your social media with pictures of you and your new bestie (and tag me)?  Maybe you are one(s) for Holly.  Remember the 3 day 3 week 3 month rule for any new pet – But this girl will win you over at Hello.
