I am Maverck and I am a young Golden Retriever/Border Collie Mix who was rescued from one of the most unfortunate situations that we have seen in a while.  When I was first introduced to my foster family, I did not like any treats, I did not eat much, and I didn’t understand basic commands. I have learned fast and I can sit, I understand where to go to the bathroom and I don’t have accidents anymore.  I am good with kids over 5 years old, however, I get nervous in a busy home and don’t appreciate loud noises. I am well behaved on a leash and love to chase my human family around. I also love it when they play fetch with me! Since I am not that large, I do not enjoy being on long walks in this frigid cold or in lots of snow. However, I do enjoy eating the snow. I enjoy playing with toys, and I found one treat that I like.  My favorite parts of the day are the morning when my family wakes up and the afternoon when they come home from school or work and are ready to play with me. I love to cuddle with my family when they are relaxing. I sleep in my crate at night.
I'm still a energetic puppy that can get over stimulated. I need lots of love, attention and daily play time or walks with my family.
