Meet Violet!

Be ready to fall in love with this one, we sure did!  Beyond cute and as friendly as can be.  She may be a little thing, but full of personality.  She will sit with you while you work and snuggle with you in the evenings.  She loves to play with her toys and has some killer sharp teeth. She is working on remembering to bite toys and chew bones only, this will need to continue at your place.  She is not really interested in walks, but she loves to go outside to sunbathe on her back and to search for something to put in her mouth.  Her favorite thing is to find a stick (which she knows she is not allowed to chew) and take off running and hide under something like a lily leaf. Her run with little, short legs is a brisk walk for you.  We play what is in your mouth several times a day and where is Violet.  Turn your head for a minute and she is so small you think you lost her, but she is usually under your feet. She will not be overlooked and will give a bark out if she wants some attention or up on your lap.  Due to size and sharp baby teeth we recommend Violet not be in a home with small children, but they could visit with monitoring.  She likes other dogs who respect her size and deal with her being bossy, small but not timid.  She would do well with all the attention.  She is crate trained and sleeps all night, out by 10 if not earlier.  No exposure to cats but assume she will bark at them if they are near to play.   She is doing very well potty training on a schedule.
