Collie / Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Large
Maverick is estimated to be between 4-6 months old. Possible Collie or Shepherd/Collie mix, but a mix nonetheless. He is being fostered with his brother Buster. Maverick is great with my larger adult dogs. He actively plays with my heeler any chance he gets. He is doing great with crate training and house training. He's been around kids and the elderly as well. He has been around cats and sniffed them, but did not offer to engage, or chase. He has not been destructive in the home. He will occasionally grab a sock, or the remote and run with it, but drops it immediately with redirection. He loves playing with balls and chew toys. He knows to retrieve the ball. He loves attention. He is still trying to figure out what being on a leash is all about, but that will improve with time. He is a handsome guy and would make a great companion!
