Cheeto is such a handsome guy who does everything he has been asked in the prison training program.  As it goes with rescue, we really don’t know the breed but once you meet him it will not matter. Cheeto was an excellent student in the prison training program.  He needs to be close to his people and is vocal in a crate.  He knows his commands - Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Leave it & walks well on a leash (he even knows heel). His trainer says he is a lovable boy, "Cheeto wants someone to play with him and love on him but is cautious until he gets to know you. He will become a shadow to anyone that gets him, he's a very good dog".  He's good with dogs and cats. He does tend to be selfish & protective of his toys. Maybe, he never had any of his own, so he'll need to learn to share. He should be good with children but not officially tested yet so meet & greet would be advised. He would do well in a home where someone is there most of the time or a home without close neighbors if he will be crated. He just doesn't like being locked up (aka crate), he'd rather be with you, so lets get him a home!! He loves people, playing with his toys & other dogs, and is a great boy. If you have plenty of time to spend with a best friend, Cheeto would be perfect!!!
