Meet Pickett. He is beautiful boy, energetic & very sociable. This hound mix puppy has a lot of energy & while he would love to have a fenced yard to play in, a person or active family that will take him out to exercise or on adventures would be a great fit too! Pickett is looking for his forever family and hopes it is you! Pickett is in our DASH Prison Training program where he has easily taken to many commands. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash, he knows all basic commands like sit, down, stay, come, leave it & tricks like high five! He has recently learned "hit the rock"! Of course, like all youngsters, he will need to continue his training with you to remind him of good behaviors in his new home. His handler says “Pickett is a big baby"! He loves to run and play with other dogs. He barks when he is playing but otherwise isn’t very vocal. His trainer also says he is "such a fun pup to work with!  Pickett is very lovable and just wants to be next to his human.” Their favorite thing about him is how much he loves people, other dogs & "the way he loves just being a dog"! If you need a good boy pal, please consider young Mr. Picket!
