Meet Lewis Vuitton!

Lewis is going to bring so much joy to a lucky home. He is a young handsome boy that is just active enough. Willing to take a stroll or romp in the yard and then settle in for a nap!   Lewis is being fostered in our DASH prison training program where he is paired with his very own handler. Together they work 1 on 1 to help him to master many basic commands. He is not a big barker, but he does like to “talk” to all his friends at training, setting up play dates I suppose. Lewis was not treated very kindly in his last home so that made him sensitive to loud noises and quick movements. When he hears them, he shies away. Therefore, if he slips up on his ‘best doggy behavior” he only needs quiet, calm but firm correction. All he really wants to do is please you. He loves all people and dogs but has not had interactions with cats or kids. His handler says he is a sweet loveable dog that is well-behaved and will be a great companion. Because of his nature, his handler believes he would do well with children. Children will need to learn how to read dog body language and be properly supervised in interactions until he is completely settled into the family.
