Meet Honey,

She is a chi mix that is ready for a new home. She is a sweet Momma who came to us along with her litter of pups & has probably been through a lot in her short life! Honey is in the DASH prison training program learning some new skills. She is housetrained, crate and leash trained. She is slowly working on socialization & other basic commands that no one ever took the time to teach her. According to her handler, Honey is a lovable, affectionate dog, she loves attention & snuggles when given the time to know people. She can be choosey, but will "quickly imprint" on her chosen one. She loves to be included but is also very independent & likes her time alone too. Her handler believes that she will do fine with calm older children that will give her time to settle in as she can startle easily but is a really sweet girl. Honey has great recall by voice and by whistle. She can be trusted & left outside of her crate and will not chew up anything, but she does love a good squeaker toy! This girl sounds about perfect for any family willing to help her settle in & decompress. She would also be great for an older person looking for a snuggle buddy!!
