Meet Tank, He is a chi mix who is a special little guy who is adjusting to people and learning to trust again. He is in the DASH training program learning some simple puppy skills. He is potty, crate and leash trained. He is a good boy but his handler calls him stubborn! His crate is his comfort zone retreat & when he's in there he doesn't like to be forced out or picked up, he might loose his temper if you keep pushing him. He is very curious to come see new people but will shy away if they try to pet him. The best home for this little guy might be with an older couple or single person without small children as he tends to be a "one-person" dog & can be very protective. He prefers female companion dogs only please but we are not sure about cats. Tank is a pretty quiet, low maintenance guy when he settles in & does not ask for much. He is just recently learning to play with toys! Tank will need time & patience to gain confidence & learn to trust. Once he gets to know you, he is the best listener and snuggle boy around!!!
