Duchess is a sweet girl who was intended to be a breeder dog, but instead found herself at DASH-lucky dog. This girl will now be able to enjoy the life she was intended to have, with you! Look at that smile! Duchess loves being affectionate with her person that she chooses. She’s very loving to her family and loves cuddles and being center of attention. She likes to go for car rides. She loves belly rubs and chillin' on the couch with you. She’s timid/vocal with new people at first and can take a while to warm up to you but once she does she’ll be your best friend. She is more on the dominate side and can be very picky about her friends, and would do best as the only dog due to domainace. Dutchess is looking for a low traffic home (very few visitors) because she does have some anxiety, to be expected she’s learning what human love is and loving it. She does best with a slow introduction to strangers or maybe put away in her safe place (crate)while visitors are there until she knows they are a safe human to be around but she can still be temperamental. She seems to do better with women but loves her foster daddy, so the right male would be ok. Older considerate kids only due to her personality. This girl loves her safe place, and she will need a place of her own(crate) to retreat to when she feels the need to. No cats, she chases them. No female dogs, or large breeds. Duchess is on a special food for skin allergies. Crate and potty trained. She is ready for her to meet her forever family. This sweet girl needs someone to believe in her the way her foster family does, if this is you please put in your application
