Avalanche did have his world cave in on him when he came to DASH, but in a positive way. He was living outside, his owner died, and he had nowhere to go. But he does now and he in the DASH prison training program learning some basic skills so that he can be the best he can be. Avalanche is learning to trust new people and is a little nervous in large groups, however, they way to his heart is treats! I am told that if you visit repeatedly and bring treats, he will paw you for more attention, he is no fool! When he wants attention, he will tap you on the leg. He also likes to dig around in his blankets. Avalanche likes to meet people on his level, give it a knee and give him a pet under the chin or side of face. He gets along with other 4-legged friends with proper introductions, he currently has a puppy roommate (Neptune) & will even share his food/water dish! He loves the snow, but even more he loves to his new life inside, where he is warm and with his people who give him love and attention. He loves to be in your lap, your bed or just wherever you are. He is a loving dog that will be good in most loving home. Does not hurt that he is super adorable!
