Introducing Trixie!
Trixie is a wonderful little doxie pin with unique preferences and personality traits which will require some patience and proper introductions. She has been with a foster and their pack, she became more comfortable and warmed up to their family especially with the help of  their Great Dane. She is now in The DASH Prison Training Program & continues to be fearful but is working on trust issues!  She is learning basic commands which will also help her gain confidence. Her trainer says she sometimes spins when she walks so she's a fun little bundle,  once she gets to know you she will get very playful,  energetic & become your best friend!  She walks on a leash, doesn't complain in her crate, loves other most dogs. In fact, she may do better if she has another calm canine companion.  Since Trixie can be skittish at first, so it's important to continue providing her with a safe and calm environment, ensuring she feels secure. Having a fenced-in yard would be perfect for Trixie as she can safely explore and enjoy her outdoor time.   Trixie enjoys playing with toys but will also cuddle up on the couch when it is time for some TV watching or just cuddling. She slepts with her foster and the rest of the pack, curled at their feet. Overall, Trixie needs a loving and caring home, preferably with a motherly canine companion. Once she relaxes and realizes she is “home” she will follow you everywhere and be a forever friend! This little girl, over time will be great company, low maintenance & a great best friend. If you have some time to give to Trixie and want to earn her friendship, this little cutie is waiting on you.
