Introducing Pixie!

Pixie is looking for her person(s) there is no doubt about it.  She loves people so much and just wants to be with them as much as she can, the perfect best buddy. She is a tiny Yorkie weighing in at 4.8 and 3 ½ years old.  She gets along with other dogs, but she is a Diva when it comes to your lap.  Pixie enjoys sleeping on or next to her person and sometimes will go under the covers with you.  She will do just fine if she is your only love.  Pixie loves people and she will give out a little cry when anyone leaves the house, but she will really cry when you return as she insists on a long welcome back hug. Oh, that is regardless of time! Pixie is potty and leash trained.  The crate is new to her, but she does OK and most important part is the welcome home celebration.  I do not believe Pixie needs to be in a crate while you are gone, unless there are other dogs for her safety.  Pixie is mending a broken heart from losing her previous people, it was a hardship on their side and could no longer provide her a home.  She will need someone to help her overcome and decompress.  She is starting to play with toys and do more alone time just after a few days.  Pixie does seem enjoy the outside on a nice day, but she will need you to be insight and maybe even join her for a few days.  She will need to on a leash unless there is a contained area, she does not need a large area! Pixie is friendly and loving and we would told also loves children.  We just ask that her size is noted. Pixie is a little nervous in the car, might be that her trips have been leaving her home and the vet…small trips to get treats may overcome that! Pixie needs you and You need Pixie,  She is very sweet and you will fall in love with her, she is adorable as well!
