Introducing Remy,

APPLICANTS MUST BE CLOSE TO CENTRAL OHIO L-YARD REQUIRED-SOMEONE MUST HE HOME MOST OF THE TIME-- work from home or retired!  Little Remy is a lovable baby beagle dachshund puppy.  He is a true little baby boy puppy who really needs his person. Remy's perfect home would be to have someone who works from home or retired so that he will have love all day long, he is a calm puppy but can get vocal when he is missing you.  He will need time to understand you have not left him and know you will return, he is doing very well here but will need a few days to adjust.  He is ok on short car rides, but he did get a little car sick on a longer drive in a crate, might do ok where he can see and out of crate.  Looking for a home close to central Ohio where the ride is shorter and home visit is possible.  Remy he loves to sniff outside, eat anything he can and have a little romp with his brother, but when times get tough, he will come looking for you. He wants nothing more than to snuggle in blankets and lay on your lap.  Remy was bottle fed when he was a few weeks old, and he was loved, held, and cared for so he very much likes his person.  He will search you out when he wants to take a little nap so he can be close to you. He likes to play but not as rough as his brother and does very well with other calm dogs of various sizes. Remy likes toys of all sorts and Benebones and plans on taking a few of these things with him!  He is crate trained and he is doing very well going potty outside and on pee pads as a backup. He will go in his crate when he is tired or you have left the house, otherwise he will cry to be with you. When he is awake, he is very aware of your location to his!  Remy is the smaller of the two Beagle bros, short little  dachshund legs.  He does love his big brother as he has looked out for him; they are now  branching out to their own personalities; Remy is a momma or daddy’s boy.  Remy would do well with another dog to watch over him and a small yard to explore but he needs a person who can continue to love him and spend time with him the most. He has been on a leash but has a yard at foster’s and he likes to roam more than walk. Remy would like someone home with him so he can sit right next to you while you work or watch TV.  Remy has not been exposed to children or cats, but he loves everyone and does not seem interested in the squirrels. He does have some sharp little teeth, but only when he is going crazy for food.  Oh, he does not have a problem sharing but he will try and get as much as he can!  Remy is one the of sweetest puppies ever, looking for someone who loves to have a baby!
