Petey is the sweetest puppy with the prettiest blue eyes and cutest spot around his eye! Petey got his name based on his playful demeanor and similar appearance to Petey from the Little Rascals. He came to his foster with his litter mate, Frankie, at approximately 8 weeks old. He is goofy, affectionate, and smart. It has been discovered that Petey is deaf, not uncommon for white dogs. Petey would do well with a dog friend to help him out and others have had great success with hand commands. Petey has such a zest for life, he makes up for this inconvenience in many other ways. He is pee pad trained and will require further socialization and training. During the day, he plays with his brother in the play pen and a night he sleeps in the crate with his brother. If he cries, it is for a very short time. Petey has been well socialized with adults and interacted and is playful (through a gate) with adult dogs. He has not been socialized with children or other animals; however, given their age, I do not anticipate issues with proper introductions and supervision. He loves his chew toys, his puppy bed, pumpkin and sweet potato, and to snuggle and be held. He gives the best puppy breath kisses too! We anticipate Petey will be a good-sized boy and would do best in a home with plenty of space and a backyard; if no backyard, he will require regular walks and exercise. With Petey’s bond to his brother and living in a foster home with a pack of 5, Petey would do well in home with his brother or other dog(s) to show him the ropes of living his best dog life! 

Petey will receive his second round of vaccinations soon and will be neutered at the end of May. Petey will be ready for his furever home in June.
