Introducing Mt. Fiji,,, Even though Mt. Fiji is an imaginary landmark, Mt. Fiji the pup should be known as the eighth wonder of the world! If you could use a great cuddlier and some extra kisses, Mt. Fiji is just the girl for you! (Don't worry, you can change her name.) She is one of our newest additions to The DASH Prison Training Program, where she will be working on her puppy manners & learning basic commands. Of course, Fiji will need continued support & training, as she acclimates to new surroundings in her new home! In her 1st week there she has been practicing sit & stay. She is mostly housetrained & does well in her crate, but again, practice makes perfect! Fiji is an energetic, very sociable girl, loves people, other dogs & playing with her toys while also being ready turn on that affectionate side any given moment & snuggle up. Her former foster family also said that after she gets to know you she will sit near you or on your lap and be happy to get petted. Fiji has velvet-y ears, and makes some cute faces, but mostly just wants to be with you and show you how much she loves you. She loves car rides and is delighted to sit in your lap. She is great in a crate overnight or when you leave the house-but mostly wants to spend time with you. She walks well on a leash and just wants to smell everything. When you play with her outside she gets too excited and will not hold still for a picture! She does great with people of all ages, most dogs, and didn't seem too interested in our cats. Fiji is just a mellow sweetheart & seems to be well on her way to erupting into that perfect little companion you're looking for!! Set up a meet & greet with her soon.
