Introducing Lou!

We think it is time this handsome fella will impress you. He is a Beagle mix, approximately 4 years old, up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutered.  He is part of the DASH Prison Training Program and his trainer says "He is a very people friendly dog and will make a great family pet.  Very playful and great with kids".  He quickly learned his basic commands, is leashed trained and has demonstrated his playful and affectionate side.   He will alert you when he needs to go out and is crate-trained.  He will also alert you when someone is at the door but otherwise not very vocal, at least in the Prison setting. He loves all people and has demonstrated a good experience with kids but proper introductions are always imperative. He likes other dogs and will even share his toys with them even though he can get a little bossy. Lou loves baths, toys, tennis balls, and belly rubs. He feels like a big boy when he lays on the furniture. He is a perfect mixture of excitable and chill.  Lou will talk to you if you use an excited voice while petting or scratching him. He enjoys snoozing with his person all day and is not a fan of being alone. He is currently not cat-tested. Lou does have what appears to be seasonal allergies; they are well managed with inexpensive daily Benadryl.  Overall, he's a good boy, learning how to be his best self to impress his forever family.  Is that you?
