Meet Willie,

Willie is a mini dachshund (full breed) born on October 8th, 2020.

Willie's human died suddenly and after her death, her family placed Willie in his create to be alone in the house all day and night. Willie become scared & defensive (understandable).  Willie went to his foster mom's house the day before she went on a 2-week trip. She needed help while she was away, so Willie stayed with her good friend's house where he came out of his shell and is now a loving shadow!   Willie considers himself the best lap dog ever! He is the sweetest!  He is fully vetted with a microchip as well.  He does the leash well, loves car rides, good with cats, other dogs (but Willie needs a home where he is the only dog)

A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Children scare him and make him nervous.  His human had adult children, he simply doesn't know what do to around the smaller humans.  It would best that no children be in the home.

He is good at potting outside or inside on a potty pad.

Willie is a great in helping with folding blankets or burrowing in his own blanket.

This little dachshund is  a sweetheart and deserves to be happy a feel safe and loved in his own home again.
