Like her counterpart in the Scooby Gang, Velma is smart, quiet and very loyal to her people. She had a hard life before she found DASH, so she is very to slow to trust, but if you take the time to earn hers-it is SO worth it!! She wants to be right next to you or in your lap, loves to cuddle, and likes to give kisses. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself to other dogs when they get too jumpy or try to steal her snacks-but she just barks or growls to let them know. She loves having a dog friend or two, and barks a lot at her foster cat friends, but with the right cat she may make friends. Velma loves treats of all types and is now walking on a leash. She does well in a crate when gone or overnight but would probably love to sleep right next to her person. She is just a beautiful and sweet girl, who needs a patient and loving family to help her settle into her own relaxing dog life.
