Introducing Hansel! Hansel is a six-year-old male Dachshund/Chihuahua who is housebroken, affectionate, and calm according to his trainer. He enjoys relaxing in his crate or a chair with a soft blanket. He was rescued with another Dachshund/Chihuahua, Gretel, and while it would be great to see these two adopted together, they can be adopted separately. Hansel hasn't shared space with cats but has barked at them through a gate. He got along with all the various-sized dogs while at his foster home. He has joined the Prison Training Program to learn basic commands. His trainer says "Hansel is a loving and calm dog that will stay by your side all day. He loves cuddles and going for walks". His trainer loves it when he bows, crisscrosses his front legs, and crawls towards you. Put in an application to give him a life he will forever be grateful for!
