Meet Miss Penny Puppers or, Puppers for short. This little shih tzu/Maltese mix is a recent addition to DASH as an owner surrender. She is just starting to show her true personality and seems to like toys and treats and lying on the couches in her foster home. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom and is pretty quiet overall. Penny’s very observant and likes to take everything in. 

Penny gets along with dogs of all sizes, adults, and older kids. Since she has not been around cats or small kids she’d prefer a home without them. Penny is working hard to be completely potty trained. She can be left alone for about 3-4 hours. If left any longer, she should be in a crate to avoid accidents. Because Penny doesn’t like to go out in the yucky weather, she sometimes uses potty pads indoors. 

Penny would love to be your one and only. She’d also be thrilled to have a doggie sibling to play with in her forever home. She needs to find her forever family and feel secure and confident that she's home for good!
