Meet Oakley!! This precious little boy came from a rough situation and is looking for love wherever he can find it! He is in our DASH Prison Training Program where he will learn his manners and basic commands like sit, stay and down so he can have a good foundation to continue his good boy training in his new home. He was underweight, so was being free fed for a while but is in much better condition now! He is very affectionate and craves attention from humans. His trainer said he can even tell when someone is upset and tries to cheer you up. Oakley is around other dogs, but he doesn't do well with the bigger dogs that try to bully him so he would do best in a home with smaller dogs or being the only dog. He is housetrained, doesn't complain in his crate and walks well on a leash. Of course, he will need to continue support while he acclimates to his new home and surroundings. He has not been cat or kid tested so proper introductions to the youngsters is in order.
