Meet Reese! (FKA Brutus)
This delicious peanut butter and chocolate treat has waited far too long for a family. We have come to know him and have found that he is a very sweet, mild-mannered, good ole boy who deserves a loving home with plenty to do. He enjoys walking, running, playing, kissing, and lying around. He loves booty and belly rubs as well as treats and food. He will even “sit” for treats when commanded. Reese has done well with other dogs and loves having playmates. He is doing well with potty training and listening to his person.
The reality is, he is a big baby doll who just needs a home and a family who appreciates his independence and energy. He is teachable and there is a big love bug inside that beautiful brindle coat. He is still working on not jumping on people to greet them with excitement and not pulling on his leash. He will get there.
Like so many, his story is sad and unfair, but we are believing for a happy ending. He is going to make a perfect house pet one day. We see Reese as a man's man's dog to go on adventures or a great family dog as a sweet, goofy companion. Don’t overlook this handsome fella. Apply for him today!
