Meet Miss Millie. This little lady has not had the best start in life, being from a puppy mill where she had several litters of puppies in her short life. She was rescued and adopted into a home where she was loved, but the family health situation changed. Into DASH she came, where she is learning everything she needs to know in her foster home. She gets along great with all of the other small dogs in her foster home, and loves being near her foster mom, she will be a velcro dog. She was very gentle with the foster's young grandchildren, but they were also respectful of her space. She is doing great on her house training and on her leash training too, but a fenced in yard is recommended, just due to her previous life. She is not crated in her foster home, as this is triggering for her and after spending most of her young life in a cage, she should not need to be in a crate. She is given the run of her foster's home and does not tear up anything. She has started to play with her toys and a couple of the other dogs in the home. She is fed separately, just to give her some space to eat in peace, as she is a little shy still. Overall this girl just wants to be loved and adored and she will give you all of that back and more!
