Meet Taz!!
Taz and his 5 litter mates were orphaned at 4 days old. They all were bottle fed by their Foster Mom. He was the largest pup of the litter. 
Taz is the sweetest little boy. He is your typical puppy that is fun, playful and curious, but he also loves attention and will cuddle at times. He can be a little whiney when he's tired or if he's not close where he can see you. When he wants your attention he will come up to you and whine for you to pick him up. He has learned "Sit" for a treat and to be picked up.
He has not learned that some dogs don't want to play or want a playful energetic puppy in their space. He insists other dogs play with him even when they bark and tell him no.
He has a thicker coat(possibly a double coat). He will need to be brushed to remove his undercoat regularly. He gets overheated easily when outdoors or when playing hard. He absolutely LOVES to play and lay in the kiddie pool. He will put his face under water to cool off when he gets hot(video in pics/video section). 
He is working really hard on potty training and is doing a great job with regular outdoor breaks(every couple hours) and consistency in his routine. He would really like a fenced in yard to be able to run free in a confined safe area.
Taz would do great with a family with courteous children but he will also be fine as an only pup as long as he is given a lot of love and attention.

**FYI: Dachshund breeds by nature are born diggers.**
