Meet Bugs Bunny!

"Bugsey" is a lovable little boy. He's also your typical puppy that is fun, curious, adventurous and full of playful energy. He loves attention and when you pick him up he gets very excited, his whole body wiggles and he'll give you lots of kisses. There are times when he will calm down and take naps. He will lay in a open door crate. Does fuss a little at first when door is closed if he's by himself but will eventually calm down with proper steps(given by foster Mom). He's working really hard on potty training and doing really well. He knows "Sit"  on command to get a treats and to be picked up(little stubborn). He has lots of energy and he needs a way to release that energy daily or a companion dog to play with. He does like to run free all over his foster Mom's big yard. He's a pretty fast runner too. It is recommended that he have a securely fenced in yard.
**FYI: By nature dachshunds are born diggers.**  

Bugsey is good with foster Mom's laid-back cat, big and small dogs. He is very alert to his surroundings and will alert bark to unusual sounds and sometimes if he gets startled or sees something strange in the dark. But does calm down pretty quickly. He is not recommend for an apartment, condo and in some cases close neighbors.
