Autumn is an 8 to 10-week-old female Beagle mix who came to DASH through owner surrender. She loves to run, play with toys, and do all of the cute puppy things. She has an incredibly sweet, silly, and overall fun personality, loving to give puppy kisses and snuggle on your lap or beside you on the couch. She loves to be outside to run and play in our small fenced area as well as run zoomies in our house with her sister. She appears to be smart and learns new things quickly. She is catching onto housebreaking, leash training, and crate training quicker than expected. With housebreaking, she does well as long as she is let outside frequently enough. She does not know yet how to let someone know she needs to go outside but when asked if she wants to go outside she runs right to the door and potties outside every time. She is also doing quite well with crate training and will sleep in her crate all night as well as occasionally during the day when we leave. She is also doing well with leash training, catching on quickly and likes to take walks on her leash. She is a puppy so she still loves to chew and will need to be watched and provided lots of appropriate chew toys. She is learning to respond well to the word no. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is a little shy when she first meets a new person but warms up quickly within just a few minutes. She interacts well with men, women, and children so she will make a wonderful addition to your family.
