Meet Tessa. This Brindle Beauty checks all the right boxes ✔️ She is smart, playful, loving, goofy and funny. She is potty trained, crate trained, good with cats, other dogs and all humans, including tiny ones! Kids love Tessa. She knows sit and come here (most of the time). She is cool as a cucumber with medium to low energy. Nothing seems to ruffle her feathers which makes her a great TV/Napping buddy and a good road trip partner because she is so relaxed. She even thinks she's a lap dog at times.... Yes a 45 pound lap dog. Hey they're out there. Looking at those big doe eyes, her tiny underbite and that adorable smooshy face, she is hard to resist. She would be great as either a family dog or a companion for single living. She's easy. She loves stuffed animals, toys, gardens, treats, and belly rubs. She is still young with plenty of life left to live. We are hoping her adopter to have a yard for her to play in. She came to us as a dumped, starving momma with 5 puppies. We could see all of her ribs. Still, she was such a good, young momma that, at times, we had to play "find the puppies" because she would move them from "harm" everyday. All of her puppies have found good homes and more than anything, we believe she deserves one all for herself. She has not allowed people's abandonment and failures to stop her from being a gentle, loving companion. She truly is a perfect dog who deserves the world. Let's give her that!
